Loren founded XGRiD Campers in 2020 after 20+ years in corporate strategy, branding, and partnership development in software.  An avid camper, RV’er, and outdoor enthusiast, Loren grew up in the Sierra Nevadas exploring the backcountry through Yosemite.  He got into off-roading with a Nissan Titan in the early 2000s after relocating to Las Vegas and started adventuring with some local clubs.   His first RV was a 27ft Forest River with all the amenities that an 8000lb bumper pull could offer at the time.   It wasn’t long after, that the off-roading and RV’ing merged and Loren realized the tandem axle, “stick ‘n tin,” wasn’t going to cut it for the outdoor lifestyle Loren and his family were seeking.   In the quest to find a more rugged, better-built, off-road camper, Loren traveled to big box dealers throughout the country looking for something better.   It was this experience of researching off-road campers and visiting traditional dealerships where XGRiD was born.   With an intense focus on providing the best products and experience for customers, XGRiD Campers is dedicated to helping customers find the right basecamp for their journey.  

Jeremy is the enthusiastic leader of our Knoxville team, bringing over 25 years of experience in the Technology industry. As a lifelong entrepreneur, he's always been driven to innovate and explore new horizons. In 2020, Jeremy, alongside his wife Chris and their family, reignited their passion for the outdoors. They had been avid off-roaders for more than ten years, but their aspirations evolved to explore even more remote destinations. This quest led them to seek out a camper that combined rugged capability with the comforts they had come to appreciate over years of outdoor adventures. Their journey brought them to XGRiD in 2022, where they purchased their own camper. This experience was transformative, extending beyond the joys of remote camping and overlanding. Jeremy and Chris discovered a vibrant community of service providers, manufacturers, and creative minds dedicated to enabling this unique lifestyle. Now, Jeremy is thrilled to be at the forefront of helping others achieve their dreams of adventure. He is committed to aiding clients in building lasting memories and reconnecting with nature. His days are filled with the joy of guiding people towards fulfilling their outdoor aspirations, underpinned by his extensive professional expertise and personal passion for adventure.

Meet Chris Long, the organizational powerhouse and Director of Business Operations at XGRiD Campers Knoxville. Juggling her role here with her other gig as an Executive Director of two online schools, Chris is the epitome of multitasking marvel. With a rich 25-year background in education, she brings a wealth of experience and a knack for keeping things running smoothly – including keeping Jeremy in check! When not orchestrating operations, Chris is an avid camper and hiker. She and Jeremy, partners in adventure as much as in business, became part of the XGRiD family in 2023, starting as customers. Their love for off-roading in their Jeep has taken them from the heights of Colorado to the trails of Tennessee. Chris lives for the thrill of the open road, eager for the next adventure and the new friends she'll make along the way.

Sherry Palzet is the  Office Manager at XGRiD Campers’ Las Vegas location. With three years of experience in the camper world, she rejoined the XGRiD team in September 2024, ready to tackle everything from front-office operations to customer scheduling – and pretty much anything else thrown her way. A true jack of all trades!

When she’s not keeping things running smoothly at work, Sherry can be found sewing, paper crafting, or spending quality time with her husband, their three daughters, two dogs, four cats, and one very chill bearded dragon. A Las Vegas native through and through, Sherry loves being close to her family and sneaking away to her cozy cabin in Arizona for some much-needed outdoor time.

Her favorite camping activity? Easy – relaxing by the campfire, stargazing, and perfecting the art of s’mores-making!

Charlene Coffman, Marketing Manager at XGRiD Campers, boasts over eight years of experience in the marketing industry. Joining the XGRiD team in 2022, she has since been instrumental in spearheading partner marketing initiatives, orchestrating successful event planning and marketing strategies, and adeptly managing social media platforms. Renowned for her collaborative spirit, Charlene thrives as an integral member of the XGRiD team.

Though her experience lies primarily in traditional RV-style and tent camping, Charlene enthusiastically embraces the world of overlanding, fueled by insights gleaned from colleagues and expos. Her passion for the great outdoors finds solace in Eagle Valley, nestled just beyond Pioche, NV, where she frequently indulges in her favorite camping escapades.

Beyond her professional endeavors, Charlene finds joy in exploring nature with her faithful canine companion, embarking on exhilarating hikes at Red Rock, conquering off-road trails, and discovering new and exciting destinations to explore.

Chuck Long, our Service Manager in Knoxville, shifted gears after a 53-year journey in healthcare to join us at XGRiD Campers. His adventure didn’t start here, though. Chuck once soared the skies as an FAA Certificated Airframe Mechanic, a path that led him from Embry-Riddle Aeronautical University to our off-roading world. He’s the man with a plan, tackling everything from intricate projects to quick fixes. Chuck’s true joy? Swapping stories with our overlanding enthusiasts – because he believes every adventure has a great tale behind it.

Kris Smith is a Business Development Associate for XGRiD Campers. With nearly 15 years of experience in overlanding, camping, and offroading, he brings a wealth of practical knowledge to the team. Before joining XGRiD, Kris worked as an electrician and CNC machinery technician across the country. In 2023, he met the XGRiD family at Overland Expo East, instantly feeling a sense of belonging that encouraged him to turn his passion into a career. By September 2024, he officially joined XGRiD, dedicated to making customers' visions of off-grid adventure a reality. Outside of work, Kris can be found exploring trails and mountains with his girlfriend, Beth, and their dog, Tiny, in their Toyota 4Runner—often venturing to their favorite spot along the Piney River in the Appalachian Mountains. In his free time, he’s constantly on the lookout for new trails and campsites to share with the community.

Mike Veleztan, who joined our Las Vegas crew in 2022, is our spirited Overlanding Technician with a past life in leadership and customer service. At XGRiD, Mike’s the guru of overlanding upgrades and custom installs, bringing passion and expertise to every project. His energy and positivity are contagious around the shop, and he’s always ready to dive into the nitty-gritty details with clients and team members alike. For Mike, it's all about loving what you do – a mantra inspired by his wife and four kids. Away from work, you’ll find him adventuring outdoors, sharing his love for the wild with his family and friends.

Glenn Guinita, our Las Vegas Overlanding Technician since August 2022, is not just a wizard with trailers; he’s also our resident nature photographer. His stunning shots grace our Instagram, capturing the beauty he finds on his explorations through Utah, Nevada, and Arizona. Glenn's a natural at uncovering hidden camping gems, and he loves sharing these experiences with his family and friends. His favorite playground? The breathtaking landscapes of Capitol Reef in Utah, where he finds endless inspiration for his photography and adventures.

Dong Sung Park, or just 'Park' to us, is our Knoxville Overlanding Technician with an aviation background. From South Korea to Embry-Riddle Aeronautical University in Daytona Beach, his journey is as varied as it is fascinating. Park’s expertise in aviation mechanics now finds a new runway in camper maintenance and upgrades. Joining XGRiD as one of our first Knoxville employees, Park’s been amazed by the friendly vibe of the overlanding community. He’s always quick with a joke about keeping the campers grounded – unlike his previous airplane gigs. Park’s a newcomer to overlanding, but he’s already embraced the spirit of adventure that defines our team.

Meet Rose Palzet, the backbone of operations support at XGRiD Las Vegas. With nearly four years of dedicated service under her belt, Rose plays a vital role in ensuring the smooth operation of camper cleaning and maintenance tasks. But Rose's interests extend far beyond the workshop; she finds solace and inspiration in capturing the raw beauty of nature and wildlife through her photography. When she's not behind the lens, you'll often find Rose nestled by a crackling campfire, relishing the simple pleasures of making s'mores under the vast desert sky.
